In August 1991, Jennifer Hall and Linda Gaffney founded Southland Medical Corporation to satisfy the funeral industry's demand for a single source supplier of exposure control products and mortuary supplies. The company has since grown into an incorporated national concern servicing funeral homes, coroners' and medical examiners' facilities, mortuary colleges, eye and tissue banks, and other public agencies.
